Supportive, Reflective Supervision for Clinicians Working Toward LCSW or LPC Licensure

Flying Point Therapy Collective provides individual clinical supervision for Licensed Social Workers (LSWs) and Licensed Professional Counselor Candidates (LPCCs) working toward independent licensure in Colorado.

Supervision is provided by Lisa Pokorny, LCSW, and is available in person in Colorado Springs and hybrid/virtually throughout Colorado.

My approach to supervision is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in the belief that becoming a strong clinician involves more than accumulating hours. Supervision is a space to strengthen clinical skills, think critically about your work, develop your professional identity, and grow into a confident, ethical, and thoughtful practitioner.

What is your supervision style?

My supervision style is collaborative, supportive, reflective, and direct when needed. I want supervisees to feel comfortable asking questions, acknowledging uncertainty, and talking openly about difficult cases. At the same time, supervision includes accountability. We pay close attention to ethics, boundaries, client safety, professional responsibilities, and the development of sound independent clinical judgment.

What kinds of cases can we discuss in supervision?

Supervision can address a wide range of clinical work. Areas in which I have particular experience include trauma, PTSD, sexual trauma, interpersonal violence, military and veteran populations, family systems, anxiety, parenting concerns, life transitions, and complex systems.

Can you supervise both LSWs and LPCCs?

Yes. I provide clinical supervision to both Colorado LSWs and LPCCs when the supervisory relationship is appropriate to the candidate's licensure pathway and clinical needs.
